SEN Teaching Assistant
to join a supportive SEMH school that provides specialist education for pupils aged ***** with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities for SEN Teaching Assistant:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support tailored to pupils' emotional and behavioural needs
Assist with behaviour regulation, engagement, and therapeutic approaches
Support pupils' learning across a range of subjects and activities
Build trusting, positive relationships to encourage confidence and resilience
Work collaboratively with teachers, mentors, and pastoral teams
Foster a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:
Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or challenging behaviour
A calm, patient, and resilient approach to working with vulnerable learners
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Consistency, reliability, and a genuine commitment to pupil welfare
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
