About the Role
We're looking for a creative and reliable Social Media Expert to manage our weekly content creation and posting. This role is perfect for someone who loves making short‑form videos, taking great photos, and turning them into engaging content that grows brand awareness.
Responsibilities
* Create weekly video content (short‑form: Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
* Capture photos that showcase our business, products, or services.
* Edit videos and photos to match our brand style.
* Plan and schedule content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
* Write captions, hashtags, and engaging post copy.
* Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages when required.
* Suggest new content ideas, social trends, and growth opportunities.
* Track basic performance metrics (views, reach, engagement).
Requirements
* Proven experience in social media content creation.
* Strong video and photo editing skills.
* Familiarity with social media algorithms and current trends.
* Ability to work independently and deliver consistent weekly content.
* Strong communication and storytelling skills.
* Reliable and organised with excellent time management.
Nice to Have
* Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
* Basic analytics/reporting knowledge.
* Previous work with small businesses or local brands.
