You will assist with performance test execution, monitoring, and analysis of APIs, applications, and infrastructure components. Key Responsibilities Support the execution of performance, load, soak, spike, and stress testing. Monitor application and system performance using Grafana or equivalent observability platforms. Assist in identifying and documenting performance issues using logs, metrics, and traces. Help configure and run performance test tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, Locust). Contribute to clear, accessible performance dashboards and reports. Present performance findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure effective test coverage and observability. Key Skills / Experience: Monitoring & Observability: Experience with Grafana or equivalent (e.g., Kibana, Chronograf, Datadog). Exposure to OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Loki, or Elastic Stack. Performance Testing Tools: Familiarity with tools like JMeter, k6, Locust, or Gatling. Scripting/Automation: Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or similar. Operating Systems: Understanding of Linux-based systems and performance monitoring tools (top, iostat, vmstat, etc.). API Testing: Awareness of RESTful APIs and tools like Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or Insomnia. CI/CD & Cloud: Exposure to pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Containers & Microservices: Some familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or distributed architectures.
