About us:
Pride Automotive Works have a new position available for a Qualified or 4th Year Apprentice Motor Mechanic. We consider our business as a relatively easy-going and fun working environment in a fully equipped workshop.
We are a modernized workshop with new equipment, specializing in all vehicle makes and models including diesel and 4x4. Our work varies from basic maintenance to major repairs, upgrades and accessory install.
Automotive Technician:
About the role:
* Service, maintain and repair vehicles
* Assist with the evaluation and road testing of customer's vehicles
* Ability to diagnose faults and carry out services to private vehicles and light commercial vehicles
* Utilize up to date work practices and techniques, varied tools and equipment.
* Maintain the workshop in a clean, safe and professional condition at all times
* Work in a team environment and support all staff
Applicants should have:
* A certificate of qualification
* Great customer service
* Great verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to safely work unsupervised both alone and in a team environment.
* Keen to take on a leadership role at every opportunity.
* Great problem solving and diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to identify and prioritize tasks of an urgent nature when required. Able to work well under pressure.
* Own a toolbox, tools and necessary equipment
* Availability Monday - Friday
Skills and experience
* Minimum 3 years of on-site experience
* Qualified Motor Mechanic or 4th Year Apprentice
* Manual drivers license
* Excellent time management skills and ability to work within guidelines
