About The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic After-Hours Nurse Manager Level 2 to lead and inspire nursing and midwifery teams at Griffith Base Hospital. This pivotal role oversees high quality, patient centred care, ensuring services are safe, effective and responsive to the needs of our communities.
As The After-hours- Nurse Manager Level 2, You Will
* Managing admissions and discharges and patient flow during evenings, nights and or weekends at Griffith Base Hospital.
* Disaster management liaison for Griffith Base Hospital evenings, nights and weekends and communicating to hospital executive.
* Coordinate and manage functions, services, or sections within the hospital, including wards or units.
* Managing changes in demands of staffing while maintaining a harmonious work environment, safe staffing of units and covering any leave or roster gaps.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate
* Current Registered Nurse registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Ability to deliver leadership, performance management, strategic planning, resource management with a strong commitment to quality and safety, supported by comprehensive knowledge and clear communication.
