About The Opportunity
South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) is seeking an experienced and dedicated Staff Specialist – Consultant Psychiatrist to provide high quality services within inpatient settings of Macarthur/Wingecarribee facilities. The position offers options for permanent full-time/part-time with the opportunity to work within a supportive, collaborative, and energetic multidisciplinary team environment. The role involves delivering specialist psychiatric care, supporting clinical teams, and contributing to service development and improvement. From February 2026, the successful applicant will supervise a psychiatry registrar, playing a vital role in education, training, and the development of future psychiatrists.

What You'll be Doing
Provide clinical management and treatment of patients in an SWSLHD facility under your care. This care will be provided within the clinical privileges granted by the Chief Executive (CE) on the advice of the SWSLHD Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee (MDAAC).
