Family Safety Advocate Role
This role will work in collaboration with the Family & Domestic Violence Response Team to assist victim survivors with timely and early intervention to improve safety, assess risk and provide support.
The advocate will be part of our Family & Domestic Violence Coordinated Response Team and may relieve as required in other programs.

* Work across other Family & Domestic Violence areas
Required Skills and Experience:
* Certificate III in community services or relevant experience
* Knowledge of Family & Domestic Violence and its impacts
* Computer literacy skills
* Knowledge of Wheatbelt towns (travel is required)
* Driver's license
Key Responsibilities:
* To develop and implement strategies to promote the safety and well-being of individuals and families experiencing domestic violence
* To collaborate with the Family & Domestic Violence Response Team to ensure a coordinated response to incidents of domestic violence
* To provide individualised support to victims of domestic violence, including crisis counselling, advocacy and referrals
* To work closely with local service providers to ensure a comprehensive response to domestic violence
* To maintain accurate records and reports related to domestic violence cases
What We're Looking For:
* A Certificate III in Community Services or equivalent qualification
* Experience working with individuals and families affected by domestic violence
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* High level of organisational skills and attention to detail
