The Centre of Decommissioning Australia is seeking an experienced leader to play a pivotal role as second-in-charge to the CEO. This position is ideal for a highly motivated professional with a passion for collaboration, strategy, and delivering impact, combined with deep industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead key decommissioning initiatives and contribute to CODA's strategy, risk reviews, and business planning.
* Build strong connections with operators, service providers, government, researchers, and international partners.
* Represent CODA externally through presentations, conferences, workshops, roundtables, and media engagement.
* Act on behalf of the CEO during periods of absence or delegation.
Requirements
* Exceptional networking, influencing, and collaboration skills.
* A proven ability to navigate complexity, manage relationships, and deliver outcomes in a cross-disciplinary environment.
* 10+ years' experience in the resources sector, with a strong track record in project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
* Deep knowledge of the drivers of cost, productivity, and regulation in the oil and gas decommissioning industry.
* Strong governance, project management, and commercialisation experience.
