Auriga Aviation is seeking an experienced and suitably qualifiedLogistics Manager to join our Engineering team.
ABOUT AURIGA AVIATION
Auriga Aviation has established itself as the industry leader in the provision of specialist Helicopter Marine Pilot Transfer (HMPT) services in Australia, operating a modern fleet of Airbus H135, H145 and H125 (AS350) helicopters.
Auriga Aviation conducts 24/7/365 operations primarily for maritime industry clients in Gladstone, Hay Point, Mackay, Newcastle, Karratha and Port Hedland.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The successful applicant will have a high standard of technical understanding and logistics knowledge to support and ensure the safety and reliable logistic provision of our fleet of Airbus helicopters.
This includes procurement and inventory management of aeronautical products, oversight of repairs and exchanges, freight and warehousing coordination, and the implementation of cost-effective, safety-aligned logistics processes across multiple operational bases. The role is critical in supporting aircraft availability, operational continuity, and the organisation's broader commitment to operational excellence.
Auriga Aviation has a collaborative team of engineers and pilots at our operational bases who work together to coordinate and deliver quality services to our clients. Safety and dispatch reliability are key metrics of our engineering performance.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
To be considered for the role, you will have Australian working rights with the following qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management or a related field (preferred).
Certification in procurement, warehousing or logistics management (e.g., CIPS, APICS) is desirable.
Aviation industry-specific training in procurement, parts management, or regulatory compliance (advantageous).
Work experience and good understanding of aviation regulations (CASA, EASA, FAA).
Deep understanding of logistic compliance and procedure
Familiarity with maintenance and engineering practices in the aviation sector.
Working knowledge of logistics compliance, including dangerous goods, customs, and freight regulations.
Understanding of inventory performance metrics (e.g., turnover, stock ageing, usage trends).
Auriga Aviation also values behavioral competencies such as adaptability, attention to detail, confidence, customer service orientation, integrity, interpersonal effectiveness, proactivity, problem-solving, safety orientation, self-control and teamwork.
The Logistics Manager is required to hold an ASIC for the duration of their employment and may be subject to DAMP testing.
Applicants must be able to live and work in Australia.
