Accounting Compliance Manager
The National Indigenous Australians Agency seeks an experienced Accounting Compliance Manager to undertake various tasks, including case work on funded service providers with suspected complex or serious non-compliance.
* Provide financial expertise and lead case work on NIAA funded service providers where there is suspected complex or serious non-compliance.
* Research, critically analyse and respond to complex compliance matters, leveraging the expertise of others to assist in high quality responses and resolution.
* Manage or contribute to the development of compliance related training and education for all staff, stakeholders and partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare reports, briefs or any other documents required by senior executives and governance committees.
Our ideal candidate will possess relevant academic qualifications and membership of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) or Certified Practising Accountants (CPA).
Requirements
* Experience in program or regulatory compliance, risk and intelligence, or investigations will be well regarded.
* Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills are essential, particularly in an operational compliance environment managing and resolving compliance issues.
