A leading construction group is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a major $100M+ Class 2 high‐rise mixed‐use development. This role is suited to a proven site leader who thrives on managing complex structures, high‐spec finishes, and tight urban project environments.
You will take ownership of day‐to‐day site operations across a multi‐storey commercial and residential tower, working closely with a high‐performing delivery team to drive programme, safety and quality outcomes. This is a pivotal leadership role with full responsibility for subcontractor management, sequencing, buildability, and ensuring the project is delivered to an exceptional standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all on‐site construction activities from structure through to finishes and handover
* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and in alignment with programme requirements
* Monitor progress, identify risks and implement solutions to maintain project milestones
* Enforce strong site safety culture and compliance with all WHS obligations
* Manage quality assurance, defect control and adherence to design intent
* Work closely with engineers, consultants, and internal teams to resolve buildability issues and maintain project momentum
* Represent the project professionally in dealings with stakeholders and authorities
About You
* Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager delivering high‐rise Class 2 residential or mixed‐use projects
* Strong capability in structural sequencing, services coordination and high‐end finishes
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to drive performance across large site teams
* Highly organised, detail‐driven and solution‐focused, with a calm approach under pressure
* Strong communication skills and ability to engage confidently with consultants and subcontractors
