Electrical Engineer Opportunity
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical engineering services to our clients across various sectors.
In this role, you will work closely with our project teams to manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and excellent client satisfaction. You will also be responsible for preparing designs, specifications, reports, calculations, drawings, cost estimations, and schedules for electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project management, including preparation of design, specifications, reports, calculations, drawings, cost estimation, and details/schedules
* Manage all aspects of projects, including design, specification, and reporting
* Undertake site visits, provide advice, prepare reports, and deliver engineering and construction support services
* Participate in meetings with supervisors and project managers to review specifications, risks, and opportunities/alternative strategies
* Establish and maintain excellent client relationships through a high-level consultative approach
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree qualification
* Recent, proven experience working on building services projects as a design engineer
* Understanding of the BCA/NCC and strong technical knowledge of electrical issues
* Extensive project experience working to Australian Standards, with experience dealing with utilities and other authorities
* Proven experience with low voltage power distribution, earthing, communications, security, and lighting system design
* Proficiency in design software such as Bluebeam, Powercad, and AGI32
