We are seeking a Registered Cosmetic Nurse to join our busy Plastic Surgery Clinic.
This is a part-time position, Wednesday 8.30am-5.00pm and Thursday - Friday 8.30am-7.00pm.
You would be expected to offer a high standard of non-surgical treatments which includes cosmetic injectable treatments, and pre-operative and post-operative care to our surgical patients.
The ideal candidate will need a bubbly personality, be an immaculately presented professional who is warm, compassionate and caring.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and a high level of patient care and confidentiality is essential.
The duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):
* Provide a range of non-surgical treatments which includes injectable treatments
* Provide quality nursing care to patients under the direction of the surgeon.
* Patient education pre and post surgery
* Assist in minor procedures
* Maintain clinic records and supplies
* Wound Care
* High level of customer service
* Providing assistance to our reception and administrate staff when required

* Laser Treatments
* RF and Skin Needling
* Tattoo Removal
* Laser Hair Removal
* Chemical Peels
* Other skin related treatments
The position also involves duties and responsibilities as directed by management.
This includes (but not limited to):
* Being able to perform all medical administrative tasks associated with a specialist practice
* The ability to multitask between front desk administrative duties and providing post-operative nursing care is therefore necessary
Skills and Experience
* Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
* A minimum of 1 years experienced as a Cosmetic Nurse Injector
* Committed to ongoing professional development
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients, staff, practitioners and health care professionals
* Self driven with a "can-do" attitude
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
