As the flagship hospital, Rockingham General is focused on providing high quality general medical, surgical and mental health services as well as outpatient care. Murray District Hospital offers inpatient medical services, palliative care and allied health services.

We are looking for Clinical Facilitator to join our team at the Rockingham General Hospital (RGH).

The Clinical Facilitator supports nursing practice by assisting student nurse and midwives to integrate theoretical knowledge into the hospital setting. The role facilitates student learning and professional development through working as a practitioner, role model and assessor.

The facilitator is allocated up to 8 hours or equivalent of 1 hour per student per day and a maximum of 80 hours per fortnight. Clinical Facilitators are required to work in all areas.

It is desirable that the Clinical Facilitator will have had recent clinical experience in speciality areas such as:

* Perioperative (Theatre Endoscopy)
* Critical Care (ED, ICU)
* Maternity (all areas)
* Neonates

This is a recruitment pool for Permanent Full‑Time/Part‑Time and Fixed‑Term Full‑Time/Part‑Time appointments, with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/07/2026 .
