Maven Partners has been engaged to complete a search to identify and appoint a partner within the External Audit division of a large, multi-service firm.
Our client is very specifically seeking a new, experienced partner as part of their growth strategy.
Our client has a surplus of existing clients, and so this role offers a \"soft landing\".
The role will be pivotal to the future of the firm's strategic value proposition, and will drive the continued growth and success of the external audit team.
Responsibilities
* Manage an existing portfolio of audit clients - no need to bring fees across with you initially. However, there will be an ongoing growth mandate.
* Manage, coach and mentor, a team of auditors.
* Explore opportunities for growth within yours, and the firm's, networks.
* Manage stakeholder relationships.
* Become part of the strategic decision making of a progressive firm.
Requirements
* Significant Australian experience within an external audit environment.
* Experienced partner in a QLD based firm (please note this is a mandatory requirement).
* Excellent presentation, and communication skills.
* Strong network within the local market.
* Proven ability to manage and grow a portfolio of audit clients.
* Permanent and ongoing working rights in Australia (please note this is a mandatory requirement).
