Type: Full-time or part-time Location: South Brisbane, Ipswich and Logan Relocation: Available (interstate & international) A highly respected, family-operated National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) service provider, with a distinguished history spanning decades in the disability sector, is seeking a compassionate and evidence-based Occupational Therapist. The role is integral to a growing multidisciplinary team and involves delivering services through a flexible combination of community outreach, telehealth, and centre-based care. This is a highly mobile position, granting the therapist flexibility to work remotely or from established clinical hubs when not actively engaging with clients. About the Role The Occupational Therapist (OT) role involves becoming an active member of a multidisciplinary team. This position is centred on providing evidence-based services through a flexible model that combines community-based care, telehealth, and centre-based sessions. It is a mobile position, granting the professional the flexibility to work from their home or from a clinical hub when not directly engaged with clients. Core Responsibilities The successful candidate will be tasked with a variety of clinical duties, including: Conducting assessments and delivering treatment to clients with diverse needs, spanning both paediatrics and adults. Helping clients achieve their NDIS goals and improve their functional outcomes. Performing Assistive Technology (AT) assessments and formulating tailored recommendations. Producing clear and timely reports and essential clinical documentation. Effectively managing a varied caseload while meeting established clinical targets. Collaborating closely with families, referring parties, and other key stakeholders. Actively participating in regular supervision and professional development activities. Structured New Graduate Support A comprehensive 12-month program is available to ensure a supportive and smooth transition into clinical practice for new graduates. This program features: A thorough induction week. Weekly 1:1 supervision sessions. Opportunities for valuable shadowing. Training in core skills and internal professional development (PD). Fortnightly group mentoring sessions. Regular mental health check-ins. Direct access to support from multidisciplinary senior clinicians. âï¸ Requirements for the Role Prospective OTs must possess the following essential qualifications and documentation: A relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy. Current AHPRA registration. A Working With Children Check (WWCC), NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Police Check. A valid Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle. Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
