At St John of God Subiaco Hospital we have 17 main operating theatres and one birth suite theatre. In addition, we have two cardiovascular intervention labs, an endoscopy unit with 4 procedure rooms, a surgical same day unit with 3 theatres and a standalone Eye Hospital with 3 theatres. We employ the latest in surgical technology, including robotics, and work with some of the highest calibre surgeons in Australia.The Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for the delivery of patient centred care within their area of specialty to achieve optimal patient outcomes within allocated resources whilst supporting and promoting the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care (SJGHC).In collaboration with the Nurse Manager and Deputy Director of Nursing the Clinical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for improving and maintaining standards, developing solutions and delivering outcomes consistent with service and organisational imperatives and targets.
