You love managing relationships and generating value for existing clients and are also able to identify new opportunities and generate sales with potential clients. This full-time role will require a highly motivated, solutions focussed individual to build on existing client relationships and develop new ones. The Position The key responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Account management (relationship) activities with key clients to generate organic growth through repeat business representing approximately 60% of the role. Build relationships with potential clients and manage end-to-end sales activities representing approximately 40% of the role. Develop and implement a plan of regular client interactions and visits in conjunction with broader business plan, sales team activities and technical expert communications. Effectively manage the sales cycle, to ensure revenue growth targets are achieved. Deliver on the promise of quality ‘technical expert’ services, enhancing client confidence, by ensuring: timely provision of service; and monitoring client satisfaction. Build & maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients across a wide variety of industries, with a focus on legal, loss assessors, insurance, building and remediation etc. Regularly represent the company at client meetings or business opportunities, including exhibitions and conferences, as well as local networking events. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with a supportive team of Company technical experts and broader sales team. The Ideal Candidate… The ideal candidate will require the following: At least 3 years’ experience in a B2B Account Management or sales role, preferably within industries such as consulting, legal, loss assessing, insurance, building and remediation or professional services. Experience identifying potential clients in line with sales strategy and ability to proactively engage with them to build relationships which generate sales. A relevant qualification (account management and/or sales) or undergraduate degree is desirable but not essential. Proven experience at developing and nurturing long-term client relationships. A curious and solutions focussed mindset able to work with internal technical experts in helping clients solve their technical problems. Ability to actively listen, identify client problems and provide value-based solutions Ability to make decisions in a timely, cost effective and efficient manner. Ability to represent the Company at Industry events, supported by technical experts. Superior computer literacy (Outlook, Word & Excel) and client data management skills within a CRM system. Personable, with well-developed communication skills (both oral and written) adaptable to the audience. Excellent negotiation skills with a solution focus. Willing and able to travel intrastate and interstate for client meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required. Have a positive can-do attitude, a strong work ethic, and value input from professional peers. Highly driven and self-motivated. Have own car and current driver’s license. Must have Australian working rights.
