Permanent Full Time Position (80hrs per fortnight with monthly ADO)

Position Summary
This Team Leader position provides strategic leadership of the BCH Physiotherapy, and Allied Health Assistance service areas across all BCH sites and settings. Whilst based at Wonthaggi, this role will be required to outreach to the San Remo and Cowes sites as required to support staff and service development.
There is a clinical component to this role which is to provide a high-quality physiotherapy service to clients/patients/residents of BCH, utilising assessment skills and developing individual treatment plans to deliver a person-centred service.
Requirements of the position are:
MANDATORY
1. Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Master of Physiotherapy or recognised equivalent
2. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
3. Eligible for membership of Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA)
4. A minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience
5. Demonstrated leadership and change management expertise with high level communication, negotiation, organisational and interpersonal skills
6. A demonstrated ability to set the vision, direction and implement ongoing service development
7. Demonstrated commitment to person centred care, risk management and quality systems
8. Comprehensive knowledge of allied health and community programs, funding streams and reporting requirements/guidelines
9. Ability to manage a diverse multidisciplinary team
10. Proven ability in completing administrative and reporting requirements to a high standard within set timeframes
11. Proven skills and experience in providing direct clinical physiotherapy services to individuals, families and groups in the community
12. Valid Police Check
13. Working with Children Check
14. COVID-19 Vaccination in accordance with the Chief Health officer COVID-19 Mandatory vaccination Directions
