What You'll Be Doing
The Registered Nurse uses best practice evidence to deliver person-centered nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team. Provides supervision and support for less experienced clinicians to achieve person-centered quality care.
Selection Criteria
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Postgraduate qualification in the relevant field of Child and Family Health Nursing and demonstrated experience/knowledge of Child and Family Health Nursing with 0-2 year old children (eligibility for personal regrade to Clinical Nurse Specialist grade 1 may be considered based on knowledge, experience and skill level).
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through IT, written and verbal means and sound interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised person-centred care with a commitment to quality improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care with a willingness to show leadership and embrace change.
- Recent clinical experience relevant to the position including evidence of participation in own professional development.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise workload and deliver care with integrity and accountability.
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence and ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires (may involve driving long distances).
