Responsibilities
* Overall management of fit-outs on new/existing 4wd rental fleet (approx 200 new vehicles per year) ensuring compliance with our franchise and company expectations.
* Ensure efficient operation of three fit-out workshops based in WA, SA and NT to achieve optimal results in fit-out targets.
* Collaborating with Operations Manager to efficiently coordinate the deployment of workshop accessories and human resources.
* Liaising with suppliers of equipment, organise parts and freight to fit out locations
* Supervise staff across three agencies based in WA, NT and SA, overseeing workflow and implementing transportation schedules.
* Supervise and training of staff for vehicle fittings and maintenance and the coordinating and managing of daily site activities at each workshop.
* Conduct regular training sessions for staff at the agencies and workshops to keep the teams updated on industry trends.
* Motivate the teams to meet quality and production targets.
* Prepare and maintain operational and maintenance status and KPI reports for WA, SA and NT. senior management.
* Manage freight movements between locations and workshops
* Manage servicing and maintenance of rental fleet in NT.
* Manage the relocation of vehicles between 14 rental locations.
* Liaise with customer for onsite repairs and maintenance.
* Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations and all relevant state and national legislation
Skills & Experience:
* At least 3 years experience in the car rental industry or a related.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent customer service and sales abilities.
* Problem-solving mindset and the ability to handle challenging situations in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience using reservation systems and basic computer skills.
* Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays across a rotating roster.
