Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Assist in the installation of HVAC systems including ducted air conditioning, VRF/VRV systems, cooling towers, boilers, and ventilation systems
* Support servicing, maintenance and repair works across client sites
* Interpret drawings and assist with equipment layout and installation
* Identify required materials and assist with ordering and tracking deliveries
* Complete electronic job documentation including reports, JSAs and timesheets
* Assist with quoting for additional works where required
* Provide general site support and handyman duties as needed
* Participate in emergency call-outs and high-priority works
* Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety and compliance requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A genuine interest in mechanical plumbing and HVAC systems
* Commitment to completing a trade qualification (or already commenced)
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to follow instructions and work safely on site
* White Card (preferred)
Required Licences & Checks
* Current Driver's Licence
* Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
* National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
* ARC Trainee Licence (or willingness to obtain)

Mechfield Facility Maintenance is seeking a motivated Apprentice Mechanical Plumberto join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role where you will gain practical experience working across commercial and industrial sites throughout Victoria, supporting the installation, servicing and maintenance of HVAC+R systems.
You will work alongside experienced professionals and build a long-term career in mechanical plumbing within a supportive and safety-focused environment.
