Role purpose
This role leads eQuality Supports’ internal Development and Platforms function, focusing on building and maintaining Power Platform solutions that can power our operational systems, client portals, automation workflows, reporting dashboards, and business processes. The role involves hands-on development, application support, troubleshooting, and close collaboration with other team members on integrations and new projects.
The Business Automations Lead plays a key role in uplifting the organisation’s digital capability by designing, building, and maintaining user‑centred solutions across SharePoint Online (including an accessible, well‑governed Intranet), Microsoft 365, and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). Solutions must be secure, scalable, inclusive, and aligned to eQuality Support’s values and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
There are key areas of responsibility which ensure the role is focused on both the current and future needs of the business. The role supports Executive, the BuSS Manager and collaborates across the business.
Digital Leadership
This role supports the BuSS Manager in leading the management, improvement and advising on eQuality Support’s digital landscape and to articulate a road map for improvement.
* Support articulation of eQuality Support’s digital landscape aligned to its Strategy.
* Support development of a yearly roadmap of priority projects and improvement
* Create and configure Power Platform solutions
* Follow industry standard IT support and change management processes Troubleshoot, bug fix, and provide ongoing support for production systems
* Collaborate with team members on integrations, shared projects, and cross-platform solutions
* Writing clear technical documentation and release notes
Digital solutions
SharePoint Online & Intranet Development
* Lead the build of our Intranet with clear architecture, site templates, metadata, and navigation.
* Establish governance: permissions model, content lifecycle, page templates, reusable components.
* Understand the need to design for accessibility, inclusivity, mobile responsiveness; drive high adoption.
Power Platform Development
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, including Azure Active Directory/Entra ID, Intune, and SharePoint for user management, device management, site architecture, content types/metadata, governance, and content management.
* Power Apps & Power Automate: solution design, reusable components, environment strategy, ALM.
* Power BI: data modelling, DAX fundamentals, security (RLS) and refresh strategies.
* Integration patterns with Microsoft 365 and Dataverse; API connectors and data loss prevention (DLP).
Microsoft 365 Enablement & Adoption
* Provide expertise across Azure/Intune, Teams, OneDrive, Planner, Forms, Lists.
* Support capability uplift via simple, accessible guidance and learning resources.
* Plan and support rollouts of new features and governance updates; manage change impacts.
Security, Compliance & Data Protection
* Apply Microsoft 365 governance policies, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), retention, sensitivity labels, and secure sharing.
* Design least‑privilege access for SharePoint sites and Power Platform environments.
* Ensure solutions meet privacy, confidentiality and NDIS obligations; maintain documentation and change control.
Any other reasonable and related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of eQuality Support as the business grows and matures.

Demonstrated experience in:
Knowledge and Experience
* Qualification in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience (5+ years desirable).
* Project management delivery, tracking and reporting
* Desired app knowledge with, Smartsheet, Employment Hero, ISpring LMS, Xero, Oncehub
* Sound working knowledge of the NDIS and SIL.
* Current Police Check.
* Delivering solutions in Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform
* Digital transformation including requirements, build, testing, deployment, & adoption.

* Work with an understanding of relevant context, emerging strategic drivers and NDIS reform.
