The Opportunity
As a Compliance and Investigations Manager, you will be responsible for:
Providing strategic leadership and management on all aspects of the compliance function, including planning, strategic compliance and investigation programs, managing a team of Compliance Officers, conducting compliance investigations and checks and the subsequent reporting and actions, and managing the compliance budget.
Planning, developing, implementing and reviewing Policies and Procedures that form the Compliance Framework for the Working with Children (Screening) Act ****.
Developing strategic relationships with Law Enforcement and other Compliance bodies.
Promoting compliance with employers and other key Stakeholders in the Community.
Managing or preparing Prosecution Briefs and Witness Statements, and where appropriate, instructing the State Solicitor's Office with respect to prosecutions in the Magistrate's Court for breaches of the Working with Children (Screening) Act ****.

There is currently (1) fixed term position available for commencing as soon as possible until 30 June ****, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
