We encourage people with diverse backgrounds to apply for this role. A dynamic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Service Technician to join the newly growing Mt Isa team. In this role, you will complete maintenance and repairs to a wide array of Komatsu machinery providing technical support for our clients throughout the region. In addition to offering a competitive hourly rate, you will receive an array of allowances and a fully decked out trade vehicle.
Roster and Salary
Roster: 7 & 7 roster primarily day shifts with occasional short-term night shifts
Salary: From $115,000 - $180,000 (with penalties + allowances)
What you'll bring
* Trade qualification in mobile plant technologies or heavy diesel; mechanical trades.
* Prior experience in a similar role, ideally with Komatsu machinery
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
* Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions
* Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments
* Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities
* QLD Drivers Licence
* HR Licence and Forklift ticket (desirable)
* Demonstrated Safety focus with no prior site restrictions
