Total Indicative Remuneration MD-2 $367,429 - $476,736 p.a. + salary sacrifice benefits
Employment Full-time temporary up to 12 months
Eligibility RANZCP trainees in their final 6 months of training are encouraged to apply
Duties
* Lead specialist assessment, care planning, and treatment
* Guide multidisciplinary teams and model clinical excellence
* Supervise junior doctors, registrars, and medical students
* Teach and mentor across mental health disciplines
* Uphold policy, safety, quality, and risk standards
* Contribute to audit, research, and ongoing education
* Join on-call and out-of-hours roster as required
* Partner with Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists standards and frameworks
About You
* You are a specialist psychiatrist who brings clinical excellence, integrity, and a collaborative mindset to public mental health care.
* MBBS or equivalent with Specialist registration via Medical Board of Australia
* Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists with active CPD
* Deliver high-quality mental health care within public services
* Lead, teach, and supervise medical staff with sound judgement
* Champion recovery-focused care, quality, safety, and teamwork
