About the Role
This position involves providing 2nd and 3rd line application support for card payments systems, including transaction switch and scheme integrations.
You will work closely with vendors, business SMEs, and internal teams to ensure that everything from fraud detection to token assurance works smoothly and meets changing regulatory and customer expectations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing technical expertise and support for card payments systems
* Analysing and troubleshooting transaction issues
* Working with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues
* Enhancing our card processing systems to align with strategic digital initiatives
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Strong knowledge of card payments, Visa, FPA, and scheme compliance updates
* Background in financial services, ideally in a digital or retail banking environment
* Strong analytical mindset and experience working with third-party vendors and external stakeholders
* Understanding of Agile practices and incident/change management processes
