Advanced Orthopaedic Specialist Role

This is a unique opportunity to become a key clinical partner in advancing orthopaedic surgery through the application of cutting-edge robotic technology.


About the Position

You will play a critical role in supporting orthopaedic surgeons in the planning and execution of robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements using advanced surgical systems. This position requires a high level of clinical knowledge, technical acumen, and the ability to thrive in the fast-paced environment of the operating theatre.

You will be the primary clinical expert for the robotic platform, providing real-time support during procedures and working closely with surgical teams to optimise patient outcomes.


Main Responsibilities

1. Serve as the in-theatre expert for robotic-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
2. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
3. Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
4. Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
5. Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
6. Travel across various locations to support multiple hospital sites.


Key Qualifications

This role is ideal for someone with a strong clinical background and a passion for surgical innovation. You may come from fields such as:

* Orthopaedic clinical support
* Biomedical science/engineering
* Medical device experience
* Operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience
* Physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure
* Human movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience
