Group Parts Manager – Transport Industry | Brisbane
Lead a centralised parts operation supporting multiple branches across Australia. We are looking for an experienced Group Parts Manager to run our national parts division from our Brisbane head office and main warehouse.
About the Role
This role leads our centralised parts team, managing warehousing, purchasing, logistics and distribution for all branches. There are no parts interpreters at other sites – your team in Brisbane will supply and support all locations nationwide.
You'll ensure efficient distribution, accurate inventory, strong supplier relationships, and excellent customer service across both B2B and B2C channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the centralised parts team in Brisbane
* Oversee the main warehouse, inventory management, purchasing, and logistics
* Ensure timely distribution of parts to all branches across Australia
* Oversee the Branch parts warehouses by conducting inventory audits etc.
* Drive ERP accuracy, reporting, and process improvements
* Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
* Support commercial growth, margin improvement, and parts sales initiatives
* Coach, develop, and support your team
What You'll Bring
* Background in heavy industry, agriculture, transport, or trucks
* Strong experience across B2B and B2C parts operations
* Proven leadership experience, preferably in a multi-site or centralised environment
* Solid ERP, systems, and data‑driven decision‑making capability
* Experience with any major ERP system for inventory management and reporting
* Experience in warehousing, logistics, and purchasing
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable
* Exposure to sales or marketing activities in a parts environment
* Understanding of OEM or aftermarket industries
