**Project Overview**:
The Ministers North Project (the Project) is a high-grade deposit located ~13km south-east of Jugari in Central Pilbara, Western Australia, located near to BHPs closest Hub to Port. The Project is an important development to WA Iron Ore (WAIO), scope includes brownfields and greenfields development, leveraging existing Jugari infrastructure as well establishing new mine and transport infrastructure.

The Project proposes to utilise Yandi latent processing and rail capacity through the development of MN as a satellite ore body. The Project throughput of 20Mtpa will be transported from the MN to the processing plant at Yandi via haul trucks (CAT 793s). The Run of Mine (ROM) ore will be processed at Yandi via a combination of new and existing processing facilities before being transported to port via BHP's existing rail network.

**Job Summary**:
In this role, you will oversee the development and preparation of project master purchasing commercial pro-forma forms, including legal and commercial terms and conditions. You will lead the development of purchasing procedures, planning, and forecasting of purchasing staff. You will direct negotiations, solve problems, and communicate with suppliers to ensure compliance with purchase order requirements and achieve the required service to meet project needs.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- By reviewing the prime contract requirements, develops and prepares project master purchases pro-forma forms, including legal and commercial terms and conditions to be included in purchase documents for project commitments
- Prepares, maintains, and monitors project bidder's lists, ensuring input is received from all procurement functions and other operational groups
- Forms, issues, and administers purchase orders
- Participates in the negotiations in the commitment of purchases, following review and approval of the proposed negotiating plan by the designated supervisor
- Communicates with Engineering to assist and/or guide them in the preparation of material requisitions
- Communicates with suppliers to achieve required service and meet project needs

- Assists project Procurement team when instructed in solving and attending to administrative problems on commitments involving high monetary expenditure or risk, engineered technical specifications or supplemental commercial conditions
- Monitors billing for compliance

**Education and Experience Requirements**:

- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience

**Required Knowledge and Skills**:

- Experience working with procurement of engineered equipment and material
- Possess problem-solving responsibility while working under defined guidelines
- Experience negotiating with global suppliers
