ENROLLED NURSE OR REGISTERED NURSE - PART TIME

IWC has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Centre on a part-time basis, working within a supportive and highly collaborative team with a flexible or set roster.

ABOUT IWC:

IWC is an Aboriginal community-controlled and multi-accredited health and wellbeing organisation that delivers inclusive services to Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Bundaberg and the Wide Bay Burnett.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

In this role, you will provide high-quality primary health care in a general practice environment. You will work closely with GPs, Indigenous Health Workers, and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver best-practice, patient-centred care.

DUTIES:

* Plan, evaluate and coordinate health and nursing care in consultation with the multidisciplinary health care team.
* Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with all staff, stakeholders and community members.
* Have sound and well-established primary health care skills.
* Facilitate gathering of information and coordination of GP Management Plans / Care Plans.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

* Experience working in General Practice (preferred)
* Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to work
* Commitment to quality care and continuous improvement

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

* A current driver's licence is essential or ability to obtain.
* A First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.
* A Blue Card (Working with Children Card QLD)* or ability to obtain.
* A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain.

* No Card, No Start legislation means that the successful applicant will need to hold a valid blue card before they start work. IWC will cover the cost of this application for the successful candidate.


Benefits

* Salary sacrifice packaging (post Probation) up to $15,990 per annum, increasing take-home pay by approximately $2,600
* Meals and Entertainment packaging up to $2,600 per annum
* Potential to access 5 weeks of annual leave after 12 months of service
* 3 days of paid Special Leave when unwell (conditions apply)
* Set roster, providing consistency and work–life balance or flexibility when required.
* 9-day fortnight (for full-time staff)
* Superannuation at 12%
* Annual leave loading of 17.5%
* No weekend work or evening work.
