The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our Canberra or Brisbane studio. As a key member of DJAS Architecture, you will lead and manage projects of varying scales, working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver exceptional architectural outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
* Project Leadership: Manage the design, coordination, and delivery of architectural projects from initiation to completion.
* Design Excellence: Develop innovative design solutions that align with DJAS's commitment to quality, sustainability, and client satisfaction.
* Client and Consultant Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
* Technical Oversight: Oversee project documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards, building codes, and DJAS policies.
* Resource Management: Coordinate resources effectively, balancing project demands with operational priorities.
* Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A degree in Architecture from an AACA-recognised institution.
* Architectural registration and a current White Card (Site Safety induction training).
* Proficiency in Revit, with demonstrated expertise in documentation and technical detailing.
* Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.
* Knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC/BCA, and industry regulations.
* A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with a passion for high-quality design.
Desirable Qualifications:
Additional qualifications in relevant disciplines such as project management or planning.
Experience with quality management systems and the preparation of presentation materials.
