• Trade qualification relevant to the position

• Undertake a medical assessment to determine fitness-for-duty prior to appointment
• The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (Protected/Restricted) security clearance.

Duty Statement Classification: Parliamentary Service Level 4
Branch: Property Services Branch
Section: Maintenance Services
Immediate supervisor: Senior Painter Under limited/general direction undertake duties in accordance with the agreed standards for the Parliamentary Service Level 4 classification.
The duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Undertake all work requiring the application of relevant trade skills in a proactive manner ensuring the highest levels of maintenance to the building fixtures, fittings and furniture is achieved.
2. Undertake tasks as a member of the Building Fabric Services team in either a workshop situation or in the field with minimal supervision.
3. Assist the Senior Painter with the relevant maintenance services trade staff, ensuring all scheduled tasks are completed.
4. Assist in the guidance, direction and support of other staff.
5. Report and record completed tasks and work to the Senior Painter, ensure relevant information is entered in the computerised maintenance system.
6. Ensure the highest standards of safety, in all areas of operation, in compliance with Work Health and Safety policy.

Salary Currently, the salary range for this position is $80,672 - $87,659 per annum plus super and other relevant allowances.
