Location: Townsville Catholic Education Office, Kirwan
Salary Range: $153,472 - $172,733 per annum (pending experience) + Super + Allowances
Lead the evolution of educational data, systems and digital innovation across our Diocese!
The Educational Data & Innovation Technologies Team Leader plays a key role in advancing the use of educational systems, data and digital innovation across Townsville Catholic Education. This role leads strategic initiatives that strengthen how schools access, manage and use data and technology to support teaching, learning and student outcomes across the Diocese.
You will provide strategic leadership in the use of educational data and digital technologies, supporting schools to build capability and confidence in using systems and information to inform decision-making. The role also leads the Education Systems Support team, strengthens stakeholder engagement across schools and the Townsville Catholic Educations (TCE) Office, and drives initiatives that promote innovative and contemporary approaches to education.
Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, you will support the implementation of key platforms, oversee data systems such as the TCE Data Hub dashboards, and champion online and digital learning initiatives that enhance professional learning opportunities for staff across the Diocese.
About you
You are an experienced educational leader with strong knowledge of digital technologies, data systems and innovation within school environments. You bring a strategic mindset and a passion for improving teaching and learning through the effective use of data, systems and emerging technologies.
You will have demonstrated experience leading projects, managing teams and guiding organisations through change, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders. A tertiary qualification in education is required, with postgraduate study in a relevant field highly regarded, along with registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Queensland College of Teachers. Experience with learning management systems, digital learning environments and education innovation initiatives will be highly valued.
