We are looking for an experienced
Senior Cost Controller
to strengthen our project controls team supporting large-scale CAPEX projects within the pharmaceutical sector.

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in complex project environments and is motivated by ensuring financial transparency, predictability, and strong governance across major investment projects.
As part of this function, you will work closely with engineering, project management, procurement, finance, and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cost control activities on large-scale pharmaceutical CAPEX projects, typically exceeding multi-hundred-million EUR in total investment.
Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and cash-flow projections.
Support the establishment and implementation of cost control structures, tools, and methodologies in alignment with project governance frameworks.
Track project performance, identify variances, and provide clear explanations and recommended corrective actions.
Ensure cost compliance and alignment with internal procedures, external regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Collaborate with project planners, schedulers, and risk managers to support integrated project control processes.
Prepare and present cost-related insights, dashboards, and reports to project leadership and executive management.
Engage proactively with contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure cost accuracy, transparency, and contractual adherence.
About You
10+ years of experience
working within the
pharmaceutical sector
, preferably in highly regulated environments.
Extensive hands-on experience controlling costs on
large-scale CAPEX projects
(multi-hundred-million EUR).
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
Solid understanding of cost control principles and tools, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and earned value methodologies.
Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary project teams in complex project setups.
High level of integrity, structure, and attention to detail.
Fluent in
English
(spoken and written); knowledge of Danish is an advantage but not required.
