Your new role
As a Service Desk Officer, you will be the first point of contact for IT support within our organisation. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations, enabling the team to focus on their core responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
o Provide first-level support for IT-related issues and requests.
o Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
o Maintain and update IT documentation and knowledge base.
o Assist in the setup and configuration of IT equipment.
o Monitor and manage service desk tickets to ensure timely resolution.
o Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
o Provide excellent customer service and support to all employees.
What you'll need to succeed
o Proven experience in a service desk or IT support role.
o Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
o Familiarity with network troubleshooting and basic IT infrastructure.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
