An exciting opportunity is available in our Health Services team for a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and motivated individual, passionate about environmental and public health.

* Permanent - Part Time (0.5FTE)
* Salary range $89,003 - $107,759 pro-rata, depending on qualifications and experience
* Up to 15.5% employer superannuation contributions

About the Role

If you're a proactive professional with strong communication skills, a solid understanding of environmental health legislation, and a commitment to making a difference, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role you will be responsible for promoting and regulating public health standards across the City, monitoring compliance with key legislation including the Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1911, Public Health Act 2016, and Food Act 2008.

You'll conduct inspections, respond to health-related service requests, provide expert advice, and contribute to the planning and approval of public events. This role also involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives, engaging with the community, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality environmental health services.
