Senior Interior Designer
A seasoned interior designer is sought after by a prominent design and construction firm to lead their team in delivering high-end commercial fit-outs.
This role offers the ideal opportunity for an experienced professional to utilize their skills and expertise in designing and documenting projects from inception to completion, while driving project outcomes and contributing to the growth of the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, including concept development, space planning, material selection, and technical documentation. They will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
The Role:

* To manage and coordinate all stages of the project, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conceptualizing and developing design ideas that reflect the client's vision and requirements.
* Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution and stakeholder engagement.
* Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve optimal results.
* Collaborating with clients to identify their needs and preferences, and translating these into actionable design solutions.
* Sourcing and specifying materials, finishes, and equipment to meet the client's needs and standards.
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation of project progress, milestones, and outcomes.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role within the design and construction industry.
* Tertiary qualifications in Interior Design or a related field, as well as relevant certifications and licenses.
* A proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across different cultures and environments.
* Proficiency in software applications such as ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Familiarity with Australian building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
* Full Australian working rights and a valid passport.
