Lumia Care is expanding our Allied Health capability and we are excited to introduce a
new Occupational Therapist role
in Melbourne. This is a unique opportunity to join us at the ground level and play a key role in shaping our growing Allied Health program.
This is a
community based position
, supporting primarily Aged Care clients and travelling between client homes across the Melbourne metro area.
About The Role
You will deliver high quality, person centred occupational therapy services in the community, supporting clients to live safely and independently in their own homes.
This role is Monday to Friday with no weekend work.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Conducting functional and home safety assessments
* Recommending equipment and home modifications
* Completing reports and documentation to support care outcomes
* Working closely with Care Partners and internal stakeholders
* Contributing to the development of Lumia's Allied Health offering
About You
You are a motivated and client focused Occupational Therapist who enjoys working autonomously while being part of a supportive team.
We Are Looking For
* AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist
* Ideally 1+ year post graduate experience, however standout new graduates are encouraged to apply
* Experience or interest in Aged Care and community based work
* Strong communication and time management skills
* Current driver's licence and willingness to travel
