Assistant Venue Manager Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Assistant Venue Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Venue Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the management team in achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage up to 30 staff members, including training, rostering, and on-shift management.
* Operate across the venue, including running the restaurant, bar, and functions.
* Oversee the Front of House operational facets of the business.
* Audit OH&S and Food Hygiene procedures to ensure compliance.
* Identify opportunities to build sales and revenue while controlling costs.
* Ensure superior service and quality to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years of hospitality management experience.
* Exposure to both Bar and Restaurant environments.
* Experience in controlling financial aspects of a business.
* Ability to lead, train, and develop a team.
* RSA, RSG, TAB Basics & Advanced certifications.
* First aid certificate preferred but not essential.
