Job Description
The role of the Foreman encompasses overseeing and coordinating daily activities of assigned personnel. This includes prioritizing tasks, adapting plans according to weather conditions, supply availability, delivery schedules, and personnel needs.
Responsibilities include delegating individual responsibilities, training employees and contractors, recruiting and hiring new staff, and ensuring adequate resources and staffing to meet project timelines, regulations, and quality standards.
A critical aspect of this position is emphasizing safety protocols, providing training on equipment usage, and resolving conflicts or miscommunications effectively.
Regular reporting of project status to supervisors, site engineers, and other officials is also essential.
This job operates in outdoor environments exposed to varying weather conditions. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, talking, and reaching with hands and arms. Occasionally lifting products and supplies up to 50 pounds may be required. The employee must be able to work at heights exceeding 90 feet and in confined spaces.
Required qualifications include a minimum of 7 years trade experience, OSHA 30 certification, and a valid Florida driver's license.
Work Environment
This position requires working in various outdoor locations under diverse weather conditions. Exposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise is expected.
Physical Demands
