GWG Recruitment are currently partnering with a well-established FMCG organisation seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to support the team on a 4-week contract with an immediate start.
This role will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll while supporting the wider finance team during a busy period.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end payroll processing for weekly and/or fortnightly payroll cycles
* Ensure accurate calculation of wages, superannuation, allowances and deductions
* Maintain employee payroll records and update payroll systems
* Process timesheets and reconcile payroll data
* Assist with payroll queries from employees and management
* Ensure payroll compliance with relevant legislation and company policies
* Support reporting and payroll reconciliations as required
* Liaise with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data
About You
* Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or Payroll Administrator
* Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance
* High attention to detail and ability to meet payroll deadlines
* Experience with payroll systems
* Experience with Dayforce payroll desirable
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
