Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic and high-performing finance team? We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Brisbane office on a 9-month contract, supporting our Government & Defence business unit.
What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
- Use SAP S4HANA to process invoices, reconcile accounts, and troubleshoot system issues.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve payment queries and maintain strong relationships.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- Collaborate with internal teams across procurement, finance, and operations.
- Support audits and ensure adherence to financial controls and statutory requirements.
What You'll Bring
- 2-3 years' experience in a high-volume, multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S4HANA or similar large ERP systems.
- Understanding of GST and financial compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
