About the Company
This is an Australian division of a global company who are known for their strong employee focus and a Leader in their field.
About the role:
You will be the main point of contact for end user IT support and problem resolution at our client site 5 days a week, while also providing remote support on another site.
Responsibilities
* Desktop PC & Laptop Hardware installation, setup and configuration, problem diagnosis and resolution.
* Support of MS Teams meeting room equipment.
* Facilitating user training sessions.
* General IT troubleshooting and assistance as required on site.
* Assisting with project work.
* Occasional participation in after-hours / weekend support & deployment activities as required.
Skills and experience
Ideally you will be qualified in an IT related discipline and/or have up to one year experience in supporting IT technologies including PC & Laptop Hardware support, Windows 10/11 operating systems, Outlook, MS Teams, MS Office and have a basic understanding of networking.
Your attention to detail, natural curiosity, ability in problem solving, planning and priority setting coupled with a strong focus on customer service will put you in good stead for this role.
A driver's license is a must for this position, as you will be required to attend other sites.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to commit to regular and punctual attendance are critical.
