Suburban Transport Services is a leading provider of taxi services in Adelaide, Gawler, Port Pirie, Port Lincoln, Port Augusta and Whyalla. New ownership of Adelaide Independent Taxis in 2024 has led to continued growth for the company. In addition we bureau (BPO) for many other taxi services throughout Australia.
We are seeking to recruit multiple Customer Service Officers for our 24/7 contact centre at Kilburn.
Our contact centre is a fast paced, short call, high volume, customer focused environment. If you possess a strong work ethic and a friendly proactive attitude, with an ability to focus on attention to detail then this is the place for you. We pride ourselves on a collaborative team environment dedicated to providing positive customer outcomes.
What we're looking for:
· Applicants must be available at least 4-5 days a week
· We need flexible people who are happy to work differing hours mostly between 6am-midnight and later on Friday and Saturday nights, and public holidays
· Own transport is preferred due to the hours of work
· Applicants must possess a high level of confidence and tolerance, and possess excellent listening, and verbal communication skills
· You must be able to work in a team environment and be able to multi-task.
· Sound computing skills are essential and should complement a minimum touch typing speed of 30 wpm.
· You must have an excellent knowledge of Adelaide and surrounding areas and be able to utilise this knowledge to assist customers
· It is essential to be friendly and courteous and have a clear and concise speaking manner
What you will be doing:
· The successful applicants are required to provide advice and assistance to customers and agencies, to engage with the public, government departments, and corporate sector to facilitate taxi bookings and customer enquiries
· Liaising with taxi drivers to assist with trouble shooting will also be part of your duties
· Updating customer records and assist with general administrative tasks as required
