We are a 108-room design orientated hotel in the heart of Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula, part of the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). Our team is focused on delivering personalized service to our guests.

Your Role
As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for creating memorable guest experiences. You will work with our charming and confident team to exceed guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Kicking off truly memorable guest experiences with warm welcomes.
* Acknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or over the phone.
* Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings.
* Making the check-in and check-out process swift and seamless.
* Staying ahead of our guests' needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations.
* Being our guests' trusted contact – helping with everything from bill issues to restaurant recommendations.
What We Need From You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience in a Front Office position or with Opera (PMS) is highly regarded.
* Strong communication skills – guests will come to you with concerns as well as compliments.
* Problem-solving skills to turn issues into opportunities for great guest memories.
* Availability to work a rotating roster, including shifts on weekends and Public Holidays. Open availability is highly advantageous.
* Fluency in the local language – extra language skills would be great, but not essential.
* Literacy and technical skills – you'll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computer skills.
* Unrestricted Australian working rights.
