Responsibilities
* Describing insurable risks to clients, crafting tailored insurance solutions, and negotiating favorable deals in the global insurance market on their behalf.
* Maintaining relationships with underwriting partners.
* Managing your own budget, sales plan and debtors.
* Providing mentoring and coaching to more junior employees.
* Driving new business development within the construction sector.
* Acting as a brand ambassador for Gallagher to increase awareness of our organisation and opportunities within the local business market.
This is a great opportunity and we are seeking a minimum of 5 years' experience managing corporate clients, ideally with exposure to mid to large accounts and preference to those with construction expertise, plus:
Qualifications / Requirements
* Sales oriented with the ability to build a long-term pipeline to support new business growth, with a focus on construction.
* Strong account management experience and technical ability within general commercial insurance.
* A proven track record of delivering both financial and operational results.
* Highly developed communication and negotiation skills with a driven, passionate and professional disposition.
* Provide informed risk advice and bespoke insurance solutions with a client-first mindset.
* Manage renewal insurance programs end-to-end, including strategy meetings, renewals, reports, market engagement, amendments and cancellations.
