About the role
Bike and Rider' is seeking an Apprentice Parts Interpreter to join our team in Mount Isa, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will see you playing a crucial role in our automotive parts and accessories department. As an Apprentice Parts Interpreter, you will be responsible for assisting customers, processing orders, and ensuring the smooth operation of our parts and accessories division.
What you'll be doing
1. Providing excellent customer service to both walk-in and phone customers
2. Interpreting and processing customer orders accurately
3. Maintaining the organisation and cleanliness of the parts department
4. Restocking and replenishing parts inventory as needed
5. Assisting senior parts interpreters with more complex tasks and procedures
6. Participating in ongoing training and development to expand your knowledge and skills
What we're looking for
1. A passion for the automotive industry and a keen interest in parts and accessories
2. Strong communication and customer service skills
3. Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
4. A quick learner with a willingness to expand your knowledge and skills
5. A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to workplace health and safety
6. Minimum age of 16 years to meet apprenticeship requirements
7. Valid Australian work rights or appropriate work visa
