Associate Director (Global Funds), Financial Institutions - Bank of China Sydney
Bank of China Sydney Branch is now seeking a highly motivated individual who has fund finance experience and exceptional communication, administration and organisational skills to join our Financial Institutions Department.
This is a Two Years Maximum Term role, subject to review for an on-going position after contract period.
Overall Responsibilities:
Support the Fund Finance Team with marketing and business-development initiatives to grow the global Fund Finance portfolio.
Maintain and deepen relationships with existing Fund Finance clients through excellent service and proactive engagement.
Monitor client portfolios and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies; manage credit, compliance, AML, and related risks.
Conduct periodic customer reviews; prepare credit proposals; and oversee post-lending management in line with internal standards.
Compile documents, presentations, and thought-leadership materials for local teams and Head Office.
Implement and track the team's KPIs, reporting progress and insights.
Collaborate with internal business units to ensure seamless execution of client transactions.
Ad-hoc assignment assigned by the Department.
Skills:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a Financial Institutions (FI) or related field; FI Relationship Manager experience is a Plus.
Strong understanding of the global funds management industry.
Working effectively and collectively across functional teams and within a matrix organization.
Positive attitude to learning fund finance (if not already in the sector).
Familiarity with general banking operations and related legal and regulatory requirements; risk management experience an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
