In-house Counsel – High profile Australian company
One of Australia's highest profile companies is looking to secure an exceptional Corporate/Commercial Lawyer 5-10 years' PAE with exposure and an interest in developing their company secretary experience.
Responsibilities
Advising this high profile company's multiple iconic entities in relation to a diverse range of legal issues, including corporate, commercial, IP/IT and retail matters.
Assisting with company secretary duties, including preparing board papers, reporting and compliance.
Company secretary responsibilities both pre- and post-listing, including ASIC filings, ASX compliance, preparation of minutes and directors' disclosures.
Routine contractual agreements such as gift agreements and collaboration agreements.
General transactional advisory and support.
Advising key stakeholders across a range of iconic businesses.
Qualifications
5-10 years' PAE with experience from national/international law firms, pre-eminent Western Australian law firms or market-leading in-house teams.
Strong commercial acumen, proactive and strategic thinking, and the ability to operate with a high level of autonomy.
